Fibra is based on multifunctional bus lines that can handle several types of devices on the same cable - for example, detectors, sirens, control panels, line extenders and devices with photo verification. This enables fast installation even in complex projects, without the need for additional amplifiers or power supplies, with cable runs of up to 2,000 metres.

The system uses digital communication instead of traditional EOL resistors, providing detailed real-time alarm and status messages with precise device, location and time information. Combined with ultra-low power consumption, advanced tamper protection and centralised management via AJAX apps, Fibra creates a cost-effective, scalable and future-proof solution. Fibra products may only be installed and managed by certified AJAX partners, ensuring high quality in both installation and operation.

Fibra - high-performance wired security technology

AJAX Fibra is designed to connect AJAX Superior devices to central units in environments with high security, stability and certification requirements. The technology is designed for everything from large enterprises to high-risk facilities, where many Fibra components are certified for alarm class 2 and fulfil relevant international standards.

A single Fibra line can handle up to 100 addressable devices in any combination - for example, detectors, sirens, control panels and photo verification devices. Communication is two-way full-duplex and encrypted, with each device authenticated at every communication session to protect against tampering, spoofing and data breaches.

Fibra supports flexible system design with line topologies such as Line, Ring and Tree and enables cable runs of up to 2,000 metres without line amplifiers. All configuration, remote control and testing is done via AJAX apps, with detailed push notifications showing exact device, location and event in real time. Combined with wireless AJAX devices, Fibra provides a hybrid solution that sets a new standard for professional security installations.

AJAX Fibra is designed to provide maximum flexibility when designing wired security systems. With support for three different topologies - Beam (radial), Ring and Tree - the installation can be customised exactly to the structure of the property, security requirements and future expansion needs.

The installer can create simple or highly complex cabling, reinforce security through redundant loops or lay separate lines per device if necessary. Thanks to ready-made settings and intuitive configuration, no programming is required - the system is ready to use immediately upon installation.

Accessories such as Superior LineSplit Fibra allow a Fibra line to be split into multiple branches, while Superior LineSupply Fibra adds extra power and extends the reach. The result is a powerful, flexible and professional solution that provides full control over the system build-up - regardless of the size or complexity of the project.

Clear alarms and real-time status in the apps

All AJAX Fibra devices work with digital and addressable communication and continuously send detailed status information to the hub. Even in larger installations, where up to 100 devices share the same Fibra line, communication takes place without delay - even in case of simultaneous alarms.

In the event of an alarm, users and alarm centres receive immediate and information-rich notification with the exact device name, time, security group and location. For systems with MotionCam detectors and AJAX cameras, the alarm can also be supplemented with visual verification in the form of images or video, providing faster and safer decision-making.

All information is clearly presented in the AJAX apps and in compatible alarm centre systems, providing full transparency, efficient alarm management and high operational reliability in both small and very large security installations.

Maximum protection against sabotage and business interruption

AJAX Fibra is built for the highest possible operational security and protection against sabotage. The system continuously monitors communication, voltage, power supply, tamper contacts and device status, and immediately reports anomalies to the user, installer and alarm centre via the AJAX apps.

With support for Ring topology, the system continues to function even in the event of a cable break, as the loop is automatically split into two active segments. Two-way communication with alarm acknowledgement ensures that no alarms are lost, even during simultaneous events in large installations.

All data is protected with NIST-certified AES-128 encryption and each device is authenticated at every communication session. Together, this creates a robust, self-monitoring and tamper-proof security system adapted for professional and high-risk environments.
